Student Support Services
-
Guidance and Counseling personnel help students to become independent problem solvers. Counselors care, listen, guide, and support. Every Greene County School will receive the services of a counselor. The counselors will work with students in the areas of PERSONAL/SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, and CAREER DEVELOPMENT. They will work with students individually, in small groups, and in the classrooms. Counselors also will consult with parents and teachers in an effort to give students the best possible assistance. Counselors will coordinate services with school resource personnel and with community agencies to obtain special help for students requiring it. If you have questions/concerns regarding the personal, social, educational or career development of your child, please do not hesitate to contact a counselor assigned to your child’s school.
